I recently stayed at Arenal Garden Lodge for a few days and it was absolutely fantastic. The location and view are breathtaking, with hummingbirds flying around while you relax in the hammock. The staff, especially Sergio, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for things to do in the area. The cabins were beautifully decorated and equipped with basic kitchen amenities. The dining area also offers an amazing view of Arenal and the lake, even better than the national park. I would definitely stay here again.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I recently stayed at the Arenal Garden Lodge for a week-long trip to Costa Rica. The location of the hotel provided a breathtaking view of the Arenal Volcano and the lake, even better than what I saw at the national park. The staff, especially Sergio, was incredibly helpful and friendly, giving me great recommendations for things to do in the area. The hotel was easy to find and the breakfast cooked by Lily was amazing. I also loved being surrounded by wildlife during my stay. Would definitely stay here again!
Totally recommend this hotel.

Absolutely stunning scenery, overlooking the luscious green canopy with the breathtaking peak of a volcano rising in the background – truly awe-inspiring! And the wildlife sightings were endless! It’s really the perfect location to escape and immerse yourself in nature, whilst enjoying a wide range of outdoor activities on offer. To add to the romantic and peaceful vibe, the comfortable bed and serene atmosphere made for a fantastic night's sleep.
The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired, which detracted from the luxurious getaway we were hoping for. With dirty curtains and stains on the bedding, we didn't feel quite as comfortable as we would have liked.
